``Faith'' is a work that depicts the love that transcends time and space between a legionnaire from the Goryeo Dynasty and a modern-day effeminate swindler.

King Gongmin (Ryu Deok-hwan), who had been held hostage in Yuan (China) for a long time, becomes the king of Goryeo (Korea). He married the former princess, Princess Nogu (Park Se-young). Choi Young (Lee Min Ho) and his companions King Gongmin and Princess Nogu from Yuan to Goryeo.

On their way to Goryeo, the group stays at a youth hostel for one night. Thugs also break into the inn and attack their group. During the battle, Princess Nogugu gets her head cut off as a mark of her murder. Her Goryeo's most famous ninja, Chang Bin (Philip Lee), explains that he cannot save her. However, Yuan will completely destroy Goryeo if Princess Nogugu dies. King Gongmin's vassals ask King Gongmin to pray on a mountain near a mysterious light source. When they get there, they see a mysterious light swirling around them, like a portal to a vacuum. King Gongmin's vassal tells the king that the swirling light is actually a gate to take back Great Nibe from the Welkin family. King Gongmin also orders Choi Young to enter the portal and retrieve the giant croaker.

After entering a mysterious swirling light, Choi Young finds herself being directed inside the tabernacle. As Choi Young leaves the tabernacle grounds, he is confused by a strange sight. He sees ultra-modern buildings, modern people, and cars. Choi Young returns to the Tabernacle, which is actually a traditional village area in the middle of modern Seoul, and notices a monk walking there. Choi Young asks the monk where the giant croaker is. The monk tells Choi Young that he can find a stylish cloaker at the nearby COEX building where a medical conference is being held.

Choi Young heads to the COEX building and enters the medical convention area. He also entered the forum room and witnessed a woman speaking to a large crowd of supporters. That woman is a doctor. Yoo Eun Soo (Kim Hee Sun). Choi Young thinks he must be a big fraud. As soon as Choi Young reached his conclusion, he was immediately dragged out of the conference room by the guards and taken to a room for interrogation. Choi Young also sees a doctor. Yoo Eun-soo walks through the convention hall and observes the surveillance camera on the wall of the interrogation room. Choi Young also defeats the security guard and returns to the convention center floor. After her forum, Dr. Yoo Eun-soo walked around the lower floor of the convention center and inspected the surgical instruments on display at the very back. Choi Young also appears in front of her, and she asks her to go with her to treat the seriously injured. Yoo Eun-soo refused to go with the man who looked like an old dog. Choi Young, still not sure if he is a big crocodile, takes out a brand and decapitates a man nearby. Choi Young orders Yoo Eun Soo to save the man. Yoo Eun-soo is shocked by Choi Young's attitude, but her self-paced instincts kick in and she struggles to save the man's life. Choi Young is now convinced that Yoo Eun Soo is really a big cloaker and that she can save Princess Nogu Gu.

At this point, the police stormed the convention hall and subdued Choi Young and Yoo Eun-soo. Choi Young then uses his own mystical powers to completely destroy the police officers surrounding him. Choi Young will take over the role of the doctor. Yoo Eun-soo returns to the tabernacle where the time portal is located. On the way, Yoo Eun-soo begs Choi Young to release her, but Choi Young swears with his life that if he saves Princess Noggu, he will leave her behind.

After exiting the portal, Choi Young and Dr. Yoo Eun-soo stand in front of King Gongmin, his subjects, and Choi Young's men. They all go to the auberge where Princess Nogugu is dying.
